“Rachael was our birth doula and she was absolutely incredible. She stayed with us at the hospital for 24 hours while I was in labor and never once wavered in her support. She brought so many helpful ideas, different positions, massage techniques, and pain-management strategies, that made a huge difference during a very slow-moving labor. I truly believe my birth would have ended in a C-section if she hadn’t been there. I can’t recommend Rachael enough!”

“Rachael was great! Prior to starting, I felt isolated and overwhelmed with all the videos, ads and products you were “required” to buy in order to just feel good in your body again.
Rachael met with me regularly to chat about my concerns, struggles and needs to update the program. She also gave lots of encouragement and insight for my questions and helped me learn along the way.
I feel like I not only learned ways to target and move my muscles but also to heal from the inside out.
Such a great encouragement for all women postpartum and highly recommend her support!”

“After a very difficult first pregnancy in 2021—where I faced unexpected complications at 29 weeks, a premature delivery at 34 weeks, and the trauma of having my son transported to another hospital without me for a 28-day NICU stay—I knew I needed a different approach for my second pregnancy. My first experience left me with significant anxiety and fear. While I switched OBGYNs to ensure I’d be at a hospital with a NICU (Jersey Shore), I realized I needed more than just medical care; I needed emotional and physical guidance to navigate the “what-ifs.” That is when I found Rachael at Align Movement.

From the very beginning, Rachael was incredible. She didn’t just provide birth information; she provided a sense of calm that I needed. Throughout my pregnancy, she worked with me on breathing exercises and pelvic floor strength, which significantly helped with my hip and lower back pain. Beyond the physical, she helped me draft a birth plan and provided the evidence-based research I needed to feel confident in my choices.

The moment I realized how much my mindset had shifted was when I went into labor at 36 weeks. After a check-up showed I was 3cm dilated, contractions started just a few hours later. Instead of panicking, I called Rachael. Her calm instructions to eat a nice meal, relax, and try to rest allowed me to stay grounded.

When things progressed quickly that night, Rachael met me at the hospital. I ended up having a very fast, unmedicated birth—only one hour after arriving! Even though it was quick, the intensity was overwhelming, and there were moments where I truly didn’t think I could do it. Rachael was right there, pushing me through and encouraging me.

Even after the delivery, her care didn’t stop. She stayed to ensure we were comfortable, helped with nursing, and made sure I was eating and taking care of myself. Because of Rachael, I look back on my birth experience with so much pride and peace.

Investing in Rachael’s personalized support is worth every penny for the confidence and peace of mind she brings to the room. I truly can’t recommend her enough.”

“I met Rachel after a long battle with back, tailbone, and pelvic pain following the birth of my second baby. I discovered her through the Monmouth Moms podcast while searching for someone who looked at the body as a whole, rather than isolating muscle groups. I had tried various physical therapists before, but most focused on one area at a time and provided very generalized plans.
Rachel was different in her methodology and approach, treating the whole body and movement pattern. Her soft tissue work is gentle yet incredibly effective. Beyond her vast knowledge, she brings amazing energy, enthusiasm, and genuine empathy to every visit. She saw the movement potential in me and supported me every step of the way in reaching my goals.
What also really sets Rachel apart is how accessible and caring she is—always open to questions and concerns. Years later, she’s still on my speed dial whenever anything is bothersome!
Thanks to her guidance, I’ve been able to return to group exercise classes, walking and have incorporated her teachings into my daily life. And for the first time in seven years, I went skiing with my kids!
I am so grateful I connected with Rachel, and I recommend her without hesitation to anyone needing expert, whole-body-focused care!”

“Prior to joining the program, I was about two months postpartum. As a first time mom, my biggest hesitations/objections were mainly two things:

-Time-Mostly all mom’s go through the biggest challenge postpartum finding time for themselves. Or should I say, “making” time for themselves. I was worried about not being able to make the time to fully commit to the program, and also mom guilt set in. I felt that if I did this program for myself, that the time I took to focus on the program on a daily basis would take away from my baby. You can’t pour from an empty cup though if you don’t take care of yourself. Rachael taught me you can put that time aside, helped me through my mom guilt, and also helped me make a lot of modifications along the way to help the program fit with my schedule.

-Cost-I was on maternity leave. So the funds coming in were a lot less compared to when I was working, which made it very difficult to commit to spending money on myself for this program. I honestly felt guilty initially for the first couple of weeks, questioning myself and whether I should habe saved the money for something else for my son. But after the first couple weeks, the guilt subsided and I told myself it’s okay to spend some extra money on myself. Rachael was able to work with me and set up a payment program to help make this work for me.

I struggled with back pain, plantar fascitis, and diastasis recti postpartum. I was worried that I would do too much too fast postpartum and injure myself. Especially after my 6 week postpartum follow-up, when the doctor told me I had no restrictions and could return to my “normal activities.” But every patient’s level of “normal” activities is different. So I felt that I was in a dilemma trying to determine where to start. Rachael helped me with all of that and helped me ease into activities without hurting myself.

I started out at 184 lbs. just prior to starting the program. I’m back to my pre-pregnancy weight 172-174 lbs. I am breastfeeding, so I have struggled seeing the scale drop lower than my pre-pregnancy weight. Rachael helped suggest diet modifications along the way to help me prioritize protein, since breastfeeding makes me hungry all of the time. She also helped me realize that the number on the scale doesn’t define your progress since I was so focused on that. I currently have no back pain, minimal plantar fascitis pain, and almost completely resolved diastasis. But most importantly Rachael helped me mentally through some difficult days/weeks postpartum when I was really struggling as a new mom. And I can forever thank her for that. She is wonderful! I highly recommend her and her program.”

“I found Rachael through a Facebook post and I am so glad I did. At the time, I was going through some challenges with gut health and overall physical health. Rachael’s assessment was thorough and always came to sessions with a wealth of information, as well as updated treatment plans. Rachael helped me figure out the root of my problems and never made me feel shameful for not meeting all of my weekly goals. To add, even though I am 5+ years postpartum, she helped reduce my scar tissue and did hand manipulations I never learned how to do myself. She was super supportive throughout and I am so grateful for her!”
